BATTLE FOR "BRAGGING RIGHTS" IN CHICAGO
CUBS @ WHITE SOX
SAT MAY 20TH 1:20 EST
We loved this game as soon as we saw the pitching match-ups. But when
we looked closer we loved it even more. The Sox are beginning to show the
form that made them the World Champions, and the Cubbies seemed to be the
longest standing team with alive with a curse now! Sox lead the AL Central
by a game, have won seven of their last ten, and are 15-5 when at home. The
Cubs on the other hand are seven games below .500, mired in 5th place in the
NL Central, have won only once in the last ten, and are 7-13 on the road.
White Sox send out experienced Freddy Garcia, who is 6-1 (4.56 ERA &
1.26 WHIP) and has a 2 to 1 strikeout to walk ratio. He has won both his
starts in May and has already thrown a complete game, and reached the 8th
inning twice. His mound opponent Rich Hill is in his first year in the
"Bigs", and has not gotten by the 5th inning in any of his three starts.
All of those went in the loss columns, and none were closer than "six" runs.
Hill has been whacked at a .310 clip by opposing batters, and has posted a
fat 7.63 ERA and a huge 1.83 WHIP.
Regulars of RED ZONE SPORTS know we like the doggies, but this one has
too much on one side to pass up.
Take the CWS and win easily Saturday afternoon
